Coach Interview — My very first sideline report. My play-by-play guy and color commentator were in the broadcast booth as they sent the broadcast down to me on the field. I interviewed the head football coach right before their play off game located in Birmingham,AL.

First Sideline Report on The Rick and Bubba Show — In the midst of my quest to become a sideline reporter for a local high school football broadcast, the guys at Rick and Bubba decided to help me out by sending me outside the studio to find people to interview. This was my “first sideline report.”

McPippet’s Discovery on Rick and Bubba – Our intern group developed our own broadcast team. We wanted to imitate radio “Rick and Bubba style.” Producer from the show, Eddie Van Adler, joined us for one of the games. After he shared some great on-air moments from our football broadcast the following morning on the show, I then told the guys about a discovery I had after reading Rick and Bubba’s autobiography.
